Yoga for Leaving Cert. students
The Leaving Certificate year stands out as one of the most stressful years in a students life. The good news is you don't have to experience intense stress all the time.
Learn practical tools such as simple yogic breathing practices that I guarantee will calm you down in your most stressful moment. Couple this with gentle deep stretching postures to relieve physical tension in your body and re-balance your body mind system. Finish the class with a relaxing and refreshing mindfulness meditation practice and float on home to enjoy the rest of your weekend. What will I wear?
You are advised to wear loose, comfortable clothing, and bring your yoga mat. Students are encouraged to work within their own level of ability, without strain or pain. We will focus on correct alignment in Asana postures to form a good foundation for your exploration of Yoga. If you have a particular health challenge, don't worry, modifications are offered on all postures but please mention your particular health issue in private to your teacher before class begins, this will enable her to look after you discreetly during the class. |
